【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationcoversperformancerequirements,testmethods,andmarkingrequirementstopromotesafeuseofbassinetsandcradles.1.2Thisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationisintendedtominimizetherisksofincidentstoaninfantresultingfromnormaluseandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseofabassinetorcradle.1.3Thisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationcoversproductsintendedtoprovidesleepingaccommodations(excludingfull-sizecribsorswings)foraninfantuptoapproximately5monthsinage.Productsusedinconjunctionwithaninfantswingarenotcoveredbythisspecification.1.4Nobassinetorcradleproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallrequirementscontainedherein.1.5Thisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationisnotintendedtoaddressincidentsandinjuriesresultingfromalterationorunreasonableabuseormisuseoftheproductbyachildorchildcaregiver.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.7ThefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportionSection7ofthisconsumersafetyperformancespecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
