【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedspecificallyfortestingtheresistancetoalkalineattackofporcelainenamelstobeusedasafinalfinishonwashingmachines,dishwashers,combinationwasher-dryers,andsimilarapplianceswherethesurfaceisnormallyexposedtoanalkalineenvironmentatelevatedtemperatures.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheresistanceofaporcelainenameltoahotsolutionoftetrasodiumpyrophosphate.Althoughthespecificalkalimentionedhereinistetrasodiumpyrophosphatetheequipmentandtechniquesareequallyapplicabletootheralkalisolutions.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
