【摘要】:ThepurposeofthisStandardistoestablishauniformpracticeforstandardscrewthreadswithregardtothefollowing:(a)screwthreadnomenclature;(b)lettersymbolsfordesignatingfeaturesofascrewthreadforuseondrawings,intablesthatsetforthdimensionalstandards,inotherrecords,andforexpressingmathematicalrelationship.ThisStandardconsistsof:aglossaryofterms,illustrations,anillustratedtableshowingtheapplicationofsymbols,andatableofthreadseriesdesignations.ManyofthetermsandsymbolsspecifiedinthisStandardvaryconsiderablyfromthosepriortothe1984issue,becauseISOtermsandsymbolshavebeenadoptedwheretheintendeddefinitionisthesame.
