【摘要】:Aneedexistsforaccuratedataonheattransferthroughinsulatedstructuresatrepresentativetestconditions.Thedataareneededtojudgecompliancewithspecificationsandregulations,fordesignguidance,forresearchevaluationsoftheeffectofchangesinmaterialsorconstructions,andforverificationof,orusein,simulationmodels.OtherASTMstandardssuchasTestMethodsC177andC518providedataonhomogeneousspecimensboundedbytemperaturecontrolledflatimperviousplates.Thehotboxtestmethodismoresuitableforprovidingsuchdataforlargebuildingelements,usuallyofabuilt-uporcompositenature,whichareexposedtotemperature-controlledaironbothsides.Fortheresultstoberepresentativeofabuildingconstruction,onlyrepresentativesectionsshallbetested.Thetestspecimenshallduplicatetheframinggeometry,materialcompositionandinstallationpractice,andorientationofconstruction(seeSection7).Thistestmethoddoesnotestablishtestconditions,specimenconfiguration,ordataacquisitiondetailsbutleavesthesechoicestobemadeinamannerconsistentwiththespecificapplicationbeingconsidered.Dataobtainedbytheuseofthistestmethodisrepresentativeofthespecimenperformanceonlyfortheconditionsofthetest.Itisunlikelythatthetestconditionswillexactlyduplicatein-useconditionsandtheuserofthetestresultsmustbecautionedofpossiblesignificantdifferences.Forexample,insomespecimens,especiallythosecontainingemptycavitiesorcavitiesopentoonesurface,theoverallresistanceortransmittancewilldependuponthetemperaturedifferenceacrossthetestspecimenduetointernalconvection.Detailedheatflowanalysisshallprecedetheuseofthehotboxapparatusforlarge,complexstructures.Astructurethatcontainscavityspacesbetweenadjacentsurfaces,forexample,anatticsectionincludingaceilingwithslopingroof,maybedifficulttotestproperly.Considerationmustbegiventotheeffectsofspecimensize,naturalairmovement,ventilationeffects,radiativeeffects,andbafflesattheguard/meterinterfacewhendesigningthetestspecimen.Forverticalspecimenswithairspacesthatsignificantlyaffectthermalperformance,themeteringchamberdimensionshallmatchtheeffectiveconstructionheight.Ifthisisnotpossible,horizontalconvectionbarriersshallbeinstalledinsidethespecimenaircavitiesatthemeteringchamberboundariestopreventairexchangebetweenthemeteringandguardingareas.Theoperatorshallnoteinthereportanyuseofconvectionbarriers.Thereportshallcontainawarningstatingthattheuseofthebarriersmightmodifytheheattransferthroughthesystemcausingsignificanterrors.Forceilingtestswithlowdensityinsulations,theminimumlateraldimensionofthespecimenshallbeatleastseveraltimesthedimensionoftheexpectedconvectioncells.Sincethistestmethodisusedtodeterminethetotalheatflowthroughthetestareademarcatedbythemeteringbox,itispossibletodeterminetheheatflowthroughabuildingelementsmallerthanthetestarea,suchasawindoworrepresentativeareaofapanelunit,iftheparallelheatflowthroughtheremainingsurroundingareaisindependentlydetermined.SeeAnnexA8forthegeneralmethod.Discussionofallspecialconditionsusedduringthetestshallbeincludedinthetestreport(seeSection13).1.1Thistestmethodestablishestheprinciplesforthedesignofahotboxapparatusandtheminimumrequirementsforthedeterminationofthesteadystatethermalperformanceofbuildingassemblieswhenexposedtocontrolledlaboratoryconditions.Thismethodisalsousedto......
